Justice Basheer Ahmed Sayeed College is an autonomous public educational institution founded in 1955. Formerly known as SIET Women's College, the Southern India Education Trust founded it. The Institute maintains high standards of superiority/excellence in Science and facilities. As a result, UGC is recognized as an "Institute with Potential for Excellence" and accredited by the NAAC with an "A" grade. The main vision of JBAS is to train and equip female candidates belonging to economically and socially backward communities with quality education and a reasonable fee structure. There is a provision for JBAS Online fees payment. Candidates will pay the prescribed fees within the deadline set during the interview. There is no extension of the deadline for JBAS College fees payment. However, no student will be registered or admitted to classes until she has paid the fees.
Justice Basheer Ahmed Sayeed College Admission
JBAS College admission to the UG & PG Courses is offered based on academic merit in the previous qualifying exam. The competent authority draws up the academic ranking taking into account the score. The candidate's name registered in the ranking can also appear for an interview session. The College processes all applications by the admissions policies established by the Directorate of Collegiate Education.
Applicants shall have 10+2 with minimum aggregate marks for admission to the UG Courses. In the case of PG Courses, students shall have completed their bachelor's degree. The upper age limit for admission to undergraduate programs is 21 (twenty-one) years old as of July 1. There are no age limits for admission to postgraduate programs.
JBAS College Application forms for all programs can be submitted online from the date of notification released. Eligible applicants can apply through the College website at www.jbascollege.edu.in. The JBAS College brochure with the programs offered is also available on the website. Each candidate receives a unique application number when applying online, which must be quoted in all future correspondence. A distinct admission form must be submitted for each program requested. Applicants can download the form for reference.
JBAS College Selection procedure:
- The admission procedure is centralized and carried out by the respective JBAS College departments.
- Departments are assigned a unique ID and password to log in and navigate their programs' applications.
- All eligible applications will be sorted in descending order of merit for selection purposes.
- After approval by the director, the merit ranking is generated. Then, candidates will be selected in descending order and notified by email and SMS.
- JBAS College Merit List will be published from time to time on the College's website and also on the College's notice board at its premises.
- Applicants can consult the lists to know the status of their applications.
- Shortlisted candidates must appear for an interview and certificate verification on the date and time set for the interview.
- No date or time changes will be entertained. If a applicant fails to appear for the interview, you will be deemed to have withdrawn from the selection.

- Original Plus Two (+2) mark sheet/Degree Marks Sheets with three photocopies.
- Original Transfer Certificate and Conduct Certificate with three photocopies.
- Original 10th Std mark sheet with three photocopies.
