In 1965, JNTUH College Hyderabad came into existence as Nagarjuna Sagar Engineering College. The government of Telangana formed it. Earlier, the College was affiliated with Osmania University when the Department of Technical Education (DTE) managed it. But in 1972, it became the constituent unit of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University and was later named JNTUH College. From its inception in 1965 to 1984, JNTUH Engineering College was located at Masab Tank Campus. In 1984, it was shifted to its permanent campus situated at Kukatpally.
JNTUH offers admission to the B Tech, M Tech, MCA., MSc, and Integrated Dual degree programs (B Tech+ M Tech & B Tech+MBA). JNTUH Engineering Courses are available in 7 disciplines. Admission to the B Tech and Integrated Courses will be based on TS EAMCET Scores. JNTUH College Fee for B Tech is 35,000 per annum. Admission to the MCA is solely based on TS ICET results, and TS PGECET scores are considered for M Tech.
The State Government makes financial contributions to the college budget to monitor and support its activities. On occasion, specific funds from other funding organizations like the UGC, MHRD, AICTE, DST, and DRDO are also sought for the development of the College. The Technical Education Quality Improvement Program (TEQIP), a World Bank-Assisted Project, has provided funding to the College. In 1990, the College commemorated its Silver Jubilee year.
The faculty members, who hold doctoral and master's degrees, also direct research programs. Along with its academic endeavors, the College also engages in considerable research and provides industrial consulting services to numerous public and private organizations. Most JNTUH Engineering College faculties received prestigious accolades and honors from State Government.
Infrastructure advance in the past two decades in the institution has been substantial. At Present, College has 8 Engineering Departments. All the engineering branches are equipped with modern computing amenities to carry out the projects and R&D Work. At JNTUH College Hostel, more than 1200 Male Candidates and 900 Female Candidates can accommodate. Books, print, and digital journals are available at the library. Additionally, it has yearly subscriptions to more than 50 premium journals.

JNTUH College of Engineering Hyderabad Admission
The rank attained in the (EAMCET), administered by the Telangana State Council of Higher Education, Hyderabad, determines BTech Admission. Regular MTech and MCA admissions are based on GATE or PGECET//ICET rankings. The results of the entrance exam held by JNTU will determine MSC admission. Only those candidates who are employed regularly in and around Hyderabad and have at least one year of experience after earning the required qualification may apply for the M Tech Part-Time Degree available at JNTUH College.
JNTUH College of Engineering B Tech Admission
The JNTUH College in Hyderabad provides a Bachelor of Technology (B. Tech) degree program to prospective students who are craving to pursue careers in engineering at the undergraduate level. JNTUH Eligibility/Selection Criteria
- Students must have passed 10+2 with an average of 45% marks in science stream, PCM as main subjects.
- TS EAMCET, administered by the Telangana State Government, determines admission to the four-year B.Tech program.
- Students who have qualified in EAMCET will be eligible to participate in EAMCET Counselling rounds.
- Applicants must register online for EAMCET Examination by logging into the official website of TSCHE.

JNTUH College of Engineering MTech Admission
The College offers an M Tech program at the PG level. There are 16 different specialties available for the MTech program. The type of specialization affects the intake capacity. For working professionals, there is a provision for part-time MTech programs. The classes will be held on weekends.
- Candidates with a B Tech degree in the concerned specialization are eligible to apply. They shall have attained a min of 50% marks at the UG level.
- GATE and TS PGECET Scores determine admission to M Tech. Qualified applicants have to participate in the PGECET Counselling administrated by TSCHE.

Besides M Tech, the College offers admission to the MCA and MSc at the PG level. The M.Sc. program has four different specializations available. The College also provides part-time M.Sc. programs for working professionals.
- Students applying for the MCA course shall have completed BCA with an average of 50%. Additionally, they shall have studied Mathematics as the main subject in 10+2.

JNTUH College of Engineering Integrated Courses (MOU)
JNTUH offers integrated admission degrees B Tech+M Tech and B Tech+ MBA in collaboration with BTH, Sweden, and AIT, Bangkok. Admission will be made as per the rules specified by JNTU Hyderabad. To be eligible, applicants shall have passed their 10+2 examination with a min of 45% in PCM Subjects.

JNTUH College of Engineering Application Process
Students willing to apply for admission to JNTUH College must apply through the counseling process administrated by TSCHE. The final seat allotment will be carried forward by counseling. While, the candidates under NRI/Foreign National/PIO will be admitted for the courses like B Tech and M Tech according to the norms specified by the Director, University Foreign Relations, JNTU Hyderabad.
For non-resident Indians (NRIs), persons of Indian origin (PIOs), and foreign nationals: The completed application form should be sent to the "Director, University Foreign Relations, 2nd Floor, Administrative Building, JNTUH, Kukatpally, Hyderabad - 500085" along with all required documents (in A4 Size) and a crossed Demand Draft for Rs. 1000/- (Rupees one thousand only) drawn from any Nationalized Bank in favor of "THE REGISTRAR (UFR account) JNT UNIVERSITY HYDERABAD," payable at Hyderabad.
