This Distance Learning uses a diverse range of learning methodologies to meet the needs of its students. These methods allow learners to explore diverse avenues of knowledge, theories, and ideas. These include project-based learning (PBL), a methodology that allows scholars to acquire key knowledge and skills by developing projects that respond to real-life problems.
Method of conducting personal contact program
- The student receives SLM and details about the location and schedule of personal contact programs.
- Face-to-face counselling – Empaneling school, college, Institute, academicians, and experts.
- Online mode – To provide different learning online platforms such as E-shikshak, E-lecture, E-lab, E-library, E-counseling, etc.
- Radio broadcast - On 91.2 FM, audio lectures are recorded and given to students following the curriculum through the University Community Radio Station. They are also accessible on the recently released FM App, Jayoti Vani.
Methods of preparing SLM & various delivery modes
- Organizing workshops with DEC and IGNOU's assistance to educate our faculty members and course coordinators was a refinement.
- Online data on reliable sources updated with SLM from various universities.
- There are 3 types of learning methods: printed SLM, audio (radio) LM, and visual (video) LM.
Printed SLM
- Prepared by academics from the University and specialists from other universities.
- Self-learning methodology (SLM) is founded on self-explanation, self-contentedness, self-directedness, self-motivation, self-evaluation, and self-learnability.
Visual (video) LM
In addition, LM is created by recording video lectures in the interactive mode in a lecture theatre using PPT or faculty in "University Studio" before being distributed online via various channels, such as E-Shikshak.
Audio (radio) LM
University Community Radio Station Studio also produces the audio for LM, then broadcast on 91.2 FM Community Radio Station. It is also accessible on the recently released Launched FM App.
