Jayamatha Engineering College (JEC) was formed by Jaya educational & Charitable Trust in the academic year 1995. The College is having its approval from AICTE, New Delhi and affiliation to Anna University, Chennai for offering Engineering courses at undergraduate and postgraduate level such as BE and ME with several specializations.
BE course is having six specializations such as Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation & Control Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering and Civil Engineering. ME course is offered with one specialization that is Computer Science & Engineering.
- JEC Kanyakumari Fee Structure for Two years of ME is INR 190000/- and Four years of BE is INR 180000/- which will vary depending on the merit list.
- JEC Kanyakumari Hostel facility is provided for the students within the campus with safe and comfortable living. Special care is taken for maintenance of Hygiene and basic facilities are provided for all accommodates.
- JEC Kanyakumari Admission process for ME is based on TANCET exam and for BE is based on TNEA merit list prepared by Anna University based on 10+2 or equivalent performance.
- JEC Kanyakumari Placement of the students will be done with renowned organizations and industries.

The students in the college are provided with infrastructural facilities such as Library, Transportation and Computer Laboratory.
