Islamic University of Science & Technology Pulwama is a major university established in the country's northern region. IUST B.Tech admission
The most prominent undergraduate program offered by the university is B.Tech. The course is offered in more than 6 disciplines catering to different domains. The eligibility criterion is 10+2 from the Jammu & Kashmir Board or any other recognized board of education having Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics as compulsory subjects. In addition, the candidate must have a positive score in JEE Mains. Therefore, 60% of seats will be filled through JEE Main, and 40% of seats prefer the normalized scores in 10+2.
B.Tech program also allows lateral entry based on the following criterion:
- Minimum 3 years or 2 years Diploma with 45% marks in any branch of engineering
- OR, A B.SC degree from any university is also acceptable.
- Lateral Entry applicants must sit for an Islamic university Entrance Exam.
IUST UG Admission
- The Bachelor Of Sciences program is offered in two disciplines, Nursing and Actuarial & Financial Mathematics. However, the most preferable is IUST BSc Nursing. The eligibility criterion for the course is a minimum of 45% marks in any board having relevant subjects as compulsory. IUST BSc Nursing application form will be available on the official website. In addition, students must appear for the IUST Entrance Exam to get admission to BSc courses.
- IUST also offers BBA program as a three-year full-time course. The minimum eligibility criterion for IUST BBA Admission is a 10+2 with 50% marks. The mandatory examination to qualify is the All India Management Under Graduate Aptitude Test (AIMA UGAT). The application forms were open from Dec 2021 till June 2022.
- BA is a preferable vocational course offered by the university to its students. It is offered in the English stream with an annual intake of 40 seats. The eligibility criterion for the course is a minimum of 45% marks in any board having Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics as relevant subjects. In addition, selection depends on the student's performance in the entrance test.
IUST PG Admission
- IUST M.Tech is offered in a single discipline that is food technology. The minimum requirement to qualify for the same is graduation in engineering with a valid GATE score.
- Master of business administration is another main course offered by the university. The eligibility criterion for IUST MBA Admission is a bachelor's degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% from any recognized university. In addition, the candidate must have a valid CMAT/MAT score. Candidates without the score can also apply, but they have to go through a decision procedure.
- BA graduates with a min of 45% are eligible to apply for MA. In contrast, BSc graduates can apply for MSc courses. In addition, students who have completed their bachelor's can apply for IUST MCA Admission. The final selection will be based on the university-level entrance test performance.

Islamic university of science and technology Placement
IUST Placement cell offers 100% assistance to its students. The IUST highest package offered is around Rs. 8 LPA, while the IUST average package is around Rs. 4.5 LPA.
