IMI Executive MBA Syllabus
Course Structure
There would be four trimesters, each lasting roughly three months. The first four trimesters would involve classroom instruction (along with industry participation in various forms and methods), and the final trimester would involve students working on an extensive field project in a field of their choice. By AICTE standards, the curriculum would include 90 credit points (each worth 10 hours of classroom instruction), 84 of which would come from classroom instruction and the remaining 6 from project work.
The course is intended to be residential. Thus, all students must live on campus throughout the first four trimesters in single occupancy, air-conditioned hostel rooms that are supplied for them. The fundamental assumption is that group and peer learning are equally important to classroom learning in any professional management program.
IMI Delhi Executive MBA Learning methodology
Given the nature of management courses, various professors would employ various pedagogical strategies.
IMI also organizes a lot of interactions with industry specialists through events, guest lectures, workshops, and seminars. Additionally, it would allow students to work on "live projects" for various organizations, using their best efforts. Additionally, the institute would schedule courses to improve students' presenting, communication, and grooming abilities. In general, the goal is to make sure that students receive great exposure and educational opportunities.
IMI Executive MBA Assessment and Evaluation
Quizzes, case presentations, assignments, surprise tests, project submissions, and term examinations are all part of the evaluation process. It would entail that students continually stretch themselves and deliver strong academic results. The institute employs a relative grading system for student evaluation, much like most reputable management schools in India and overseas. Therefore, using a 10-point scale, grades would be given in a course based on the relative ranking of a student's classmates rather than only the absolute mark earned.
