International Institute of Information Technology, Bangalore is an autonomous institute known as IIITB deemed a university, started in 1999 to impart quality education in engineering and science streams. The academic courses offered at the IIITB are the best in the country, which is industry-oriented, and IIITB has collaborated with the IT industry, Reputed educational institutions in India, and abroad to impart advanced technical education for its students. Since its inception, more than 3,000 candidates are graduated from IIITB. In 2018, the IIITB was ranked 56th in NIRF (National Institutional Ranking Framework) under the engineering category, which MHRD declared.
- IIIT, Bangalore offers Integrated Program B Tech + M Tech in two streams, namely computer science & engineering and electronics and communication engineering, for five years with the total intake of 30 Students
- It offers Post Graduate Programs M.Sc., M Tech Program in 4 disciplines, and Post Graduate Diploma Program. IIITB provides a research program in Ph.D. and M.S for three years.
- IIIT Bangalore admissions for the M Tech Program will be provided based on the valid GATE Score. For access to the Integrated program, B Tech + M Tech will be based on JEE Main Score, and candidates must secure a minimum 75% aggregate score in 10+2.
- IIITB admissions for M.Sc. and Research Programs will be offered based on the written test followed by an interview, which the institute itself will conduct.
- IIITB Placement scenario is exceptional, and it has a dedicated placement team that ensures 100% placement assistance for the candidates. - IIITB Scholarships are provided for Meritorious candidates based on their academic performance. Candidates who are securing research programs will be provided a fellowship of INR 12,000 Per month for M.S studying students and the Ph.D. candidates INR 25,000 Per month.
IITB has a state-of-art infrastructure and well-furnished with modern amenities, and it offers the best hostel accommodation for both boys & girls. Modern Laboratories and Computer Centre is an extremely well-stocked library with a rich collection of books.
