The Maruthi Educational Society, which illustrious businessmen and professionals created, established the Institute of Aeronautical Engineering Hyderabad in 2000. IARE was the first institution in Telangana to provide a B.Tech in Aeronautical Engineering, and through time, it developed into a cutting-edge, multidisciplinary technical institute. Besides, IARE Hyderabad is a prestigious autonomous college offering 11 B.Tech Courses and 6 M Tech Courses. In addition, it offers an MBA degree at the PG level. AICTE approves the college and is affiliated with JNTUH. Moreover, 7 B Tech courses are accredited by the NBA thrice. Furthermore, UGC recognized the IARE Hyderabad Courses.
The admission process is done per the guidelines specified by the Government of Telangana. 70% of seats are allotted based on merit in the Common entrance test. In addition, 30% of seats are earmarked for the Management Quota/NRI. Besides, Diploma holders are admitted in B Tech 2nd year to 20% intake based on ECET merit scores. However, to be eligible for admission under merit quota/convenor-category A seats, students must score in CET at par with the cut-off criteria.
TS EAMCET scores determine admission to the Courses. Students applying for an MBA must have valid scores in the TS ICET Examination. In contrast, TS PGECET scores determine admission to M Tech. The Fees structure for B.Tech is Rs. 3 lakhs. While the course fees for an MBA are Rs. 76000. The fee for the M.Tech. program is Rs. 1.4 lakhs.
The 17-acre IARE campus is built in a beautiful, peaceful setting ideal for education. The IARE Hyderabad campus infrastructure is quiet and peaceful. The available facilities include a library, labs, computer centre, open-air theatre, sangeet auditorium, flipped classrooms, studio rooms, meeting rooms, and seminar halls. IARE Hyderabad Hostel fees are INR 80,000.
IARE has 14 sponsored research projects and has been awarded funding totalling Rs. 891.66 lakhs by various organizations, including DST, AICTE, UGC, etc. The institute has a history of intellectual property, with over 1,500 research papers published by staff and students, 3300+ citations, and 93 patents in the last five years.
