Institute for Excellence in Higher Education, also known as IEHE, Bhopal is an autonomous educational institute formed in 1995. It is affiliated to Bhopal University, recognized under UGC, and Accredited by NAAC ‘A’ Grade. The main objective of the IEEE is to provide exceptional education through an interactive approach and by organizing live projects, seminars, presentations, guest lectures and also arranges co-curricular and extra-curricular activities for the inclusive enhancement of students. Institute also arranges frequent educational excursions, heritage walks, industrial visits, Summer & Winter internships, and job-oriented training IEHE offers UG & PG courses in Arts, Science, Commerce, and Hotel Management streams.
- IEHE offers a bachelor’s degree BA (Hons), B. Com (Hons), B.Sc. (Hons) in 8 streams, namely Forensic Science, Bio-Technology, Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Chemistry, Geography, and Electronics.
- It offers Post Graduate courses in M. Com, M.Phil., MA, M.Sc. in 4 streams, namely Mathematics, Bio-Technology, Chemistry, and Physics, with an intake capacity of 20 students. It also offers Diploma Program and research program in M.Phil.
- According to the Department of Higher Education norms, admissions for all the UG and PG Courses at IEHE will be made by Madhya Pradesh Government. Selection of the candidates will be made based on the academic merit score acquired in the qualifying exam.
- IIHE has a dedicated placement cell, which came into existence in the year 2002. The Placement strives to provide the best job opportunities for the students by organizing regular workshops, industrial training, and Pre-Placement talks.
- Institute has dedicated and expert faculties in their domain who impart the best teaching through advanced methodologies. Candidates will be guided and encouraged to participate in certain academic activities to increase skills & knowledge.
- IIHE Scholarships are granted for the Meritorious Candidates based on their academic performance, and they will be rewarded with Dr.N.P Singh Memorial award with scholarship amount INR 5000. Even financial assistance is provided for the economically backward categories.
