Indore Institute of Science & Technology Admission
Admission to B Tech is determined by a candidate's merit as determined by the results of the JEE Main. In contrast, admission to M Tech programs is determined by a candidate's performance on the GATE.
IIST provides various B.E/B Tech courses at the undergraduate level, each lasting four years with different intake capacities for different specializations.
Admission Criteria:
- Applicants need to have passed their 10+2/HSC or equivalent with PCM.
- A minimum aggregate of 45% in PCM is required, while candidates from the SC/ST/PD category should have at least 40% marks.
Selection Process:
- Admission to B.E/B Tech programs is based on JEE (Main) results.
- Candidates must apply for the JEE Main examination through the official NTA website.
- Those who clear JEE Main should apply for centralized counseling conducted by DTE Madhya Pradesh.
- During counseling, students choose their preferred colleges and courses, and DTE MP allocates seats accordingly.
- If seats remain vacant after JEE Main DTE-MP counseling, they are filled based on merit.
