Indian Institute of Technology Patna is one of the new IITs and is placed 21st among India's Top 25 Engineering Colleges. The IIT Patna has inked an agreement with the Bihar Education Department to establish school science labs. The Act of the Indian Parliament established eight new IITs, including IIT Patna. The institute has ten academic departments, 50 labs, three schools, and a few advanced research centres. Students and research scholars at IIT Patna also participate in exchange programs and overseas internships in the United States, Australia, Singapore, and Canada.
IIT Patna courses provide over 40 courses at the IIT Patna undergraduate, PG, and IIT Patna doctoral levels. IIT Patna B-Tech is IIT Patna's flagship program. The program is divided into nine streams. Candidates must take the JEE Advanced test and engage in JoSAA counselling to be considered for admission to the program. JEE Advanced rank of 1849-14216 is required for IIT Patna B-Tech admission. The four-year IIT Patna B-Tech fee costs INR 6.98 lakhs in total. Tuition fees are waived for candidates who fall into the SC/ST category. A one-year IIT Patna Post Graduate Certificate in Data Analytics and Business Intelligence is also offered.
In addition, IIT Patna placements have witnessed a significant improvement. The graduating class got 313 employment offers. In the same way, the number of students placed in B-Tech and M-Tech programs has increased. There were 190 students placed from the BTech program and 55 from the M-Tech program.

B-Tech Admission at IIT Patna
The institution will offer two new branches: IIT Patna Artificial Intelligence and IIT Patna Data Science and Engineering Physics. With this announcement, the institute has increased its B-Tech program admission capacity to 499 students. In the B-Tech curriculum at IIT Patna, students can change their branch or add or drop a course. This is done with the IIT Patna Faculty Advisor's approval, the concerned course teachers, and the academic section offered.
Cutoff for B-Tech at IIT Patna
JEE advanced test scores are used to determine IIT Patna B-Tech admission. Candidates who obtain the required minimum score in the JEE Main test are eligible to take the respected exam. The Unreserved category (General category) has a minimum qualifying mark of 87.992241 and a maximum qualifying mark of 100. M-Tech Admission at IIT Patna
The IIT Patna M-Tech program has nine specialities to choose from. Over two academic years, the curriculum is divided into four semesters. IIT Patna M-Tech fee similarly costs an INR 88,300 for the whole M-Tech program. The GATE exam and sponsorship are also options for admission to the program. A GATE score of 500-700, on the other hand, is preferred for IIT Patna M-Tech admission.

JEE Advanced Cut-off of IIT Patna
IIT Patna B. Tech provides eight specialities in its four-year program, with admission based on JEE Advanced cutoff scores. Admission for M.Sc. at IIT Patna
The two-year IIT Patna M.Sc. program is offered in three specializations: physics, chemistry, and mathematics. For IIT Patna M.Sc. admission, JAM scores will be considered.
