The Indian Institute of Technology Indore, also known as IIT Indore or IITI founded by the Indian government in 2009. IIT Indore is one of the eight new IITs designated as "Institutes of National Importance" by the government. Under the supervision of IIT Bombay, the university began operations in 2009-10 on a temporary campus at Devi Ahilya University's Institute of Engineering and Technology. Union HRD Minister laid the foundation of the Permanent IIT Indore Campus at Simrol, located on Khandwa Road, about 25 km from Indore City.
Despite being new among IITs, the institute has accomplished prestigious rankings and has been recognized internationally. IIT Indore NIRF Ranking is ranked 26 in the overall category and 13 in the engineering category. According to Times Higher Education Asia Ranking Framework 2022, the IITI secured 87th rank. Regarding research and innovation, Indore IIT holds global recognition, with 400+ ongoing projects, 203 consultancies, and above 4000 publications.
IIT Indore Courses include B Tech, M Tech, MSc, Integrated Degree B Tech+ M Tech, MS (Research), and Ph.D. in various streams. Students who wish to apply for IIT Indore M Tech or MSc courses will have a provision to convert into a dual degree at the end of 3rd semester. (For Ex: M Tech+ Ph.D. or MSc+ Ph.D.) IIT Indore B Tech is available in five disciplines, CSE, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, and Metallurgy Engg. National entrance examination scores determine admission to these programs.
III Indore has been associated with IIM Indore to offer a two-year Online Degree course in the MS Data Science and Management. IIT Indore Online course is ideal for graduates and working professionals. IIT Indore Online Course fees are INR 12 lakhs for Indian participants and INR 15.6 lakhs for international participants. In addition, the curriculum includes 900 hours of study, spread out across 14-15 hours of live lectures every week.
Besides, it offers online research training for outside faculty members under the guidance of IIT Indore Faculty Mentors. Students pursuing master's or Ph.D. are also eligible to apply for IIT Indore Online Research Training. The duration is min 1 month, and the maximum is one year. IIT Indore Online Training Fees for Students will be approx. INR 10,000 Per month. While for Faculties, the cost is INR 20,000 Per month.
IIT Indore Internship applies to Undergraduate Students from various Universities/Institutions. Students can undergo an Internship under the guidance of the IITI faculty mentor. UG students get an opportunity to interact with the faculty team via online mode. Students must make the payment of INR 2,000 per month for this internship. The maximum duration of the online internship is 1 year.

IIT Indore Courses and Fee
BTech, MTech, MSc, Five-year BTech+MTech, MS (Research), and Doctor of Philosophy are among the courses offered by IIT Indore. The IITI offers the option to transform a BTech program into a five-year combined BTech+MTech program at the end of the sixth semester. Similarly, MTech and MSc students have the opportunity to transition to IIT Indore dual degree programs at the end of the third semester. IIT Indore Admission
IIT Indore admissions are made based on an entrance exam followed by counseling. To complete the ultimate IIT Indore admission process, applicants must apply for the relevant entrance exam and counseling. Check out the admission criteria of the respective courses mentioned below.
IIT Indore BTech Admission
The IIT Indore B.Tech is four years long and offers five specializations. It has a maximum capacity of 360 students. The IIT Indore BTech Fee is INR 2.42 lakhs per year. Candidates for B Tech will be selected based on their JEE Advanced results, followed by JoSAA counseling. All the B Tech aspirants must satisfy the stipulated IIT Indore B Tech Cut off.
IIT Indore BTech Cut Off
Candidates who obtain the required minimum score in the JEE Main test are eligible to take the JEE Advanced exam. IIT Indore JEE Main Cut-off for the general category has a minimum qualifying mark of 87.992241 and a maximum qualifying mark of 100. However, applicants must satisfy even IIT Indore Cut-off JEE Advanced Cut for being shortlisted for further admission formalities.

IIT Indore MTech Admission
GATE scores and the COAP counseling process are used to determine IIT Indore MTech admissions. M Tech admission seekers must enroll in the COAP counseling process after completing the GATE entrance exam to get admission to IITs. COAP provides a centralized portal for registered candidates to select their desired MTech stream. Additionally, students need to meet the IIT Indore Cut-off M Tech.

IIT Indore MSc Admission
IIT Indore MSc admission depends on the IIT JAM test results. The IIT Indore MSc is a two-year full-time program. Among the course, titles are Quantum Mechanics, Modern Techniques in Inorganic Chemistry, and Thermodynamics.
