IIEST Shibpur is a prominent engineering institution located in Bengal. It was initially known as Bengal Engineering College. It was established in 1856, 165 years ago. It is the second oldest college in the country in the engineering category. IIEST recognized as an "Institute of National Importance" under MHRD by the government of India. I have chosen B Arch course right now am in 2nd year studying at IIEST, Howrah according to me it is finest college for pursuing Architecture course. To confess about fee structure it is actually good and convenient for paying. College organizes curricular activities; inter college fests so we have nice kind of entertainment apart from studies. Infrastructure and facilities are not bad and our department teaching faculties are very helpful in offering efficient teaching through innovative training methodologies. Placement support is pretty good some good companies have visited the campus last year for the recruitment process overall I can say it is good college
