IES University was set up by the Infotech Education Society in 1999. Formerly called the IES Group of Institutions, it became a university in 2019. The Institutes are approved by both AICTE & the Government of Madhya Pradesh. They have also earned NBA Accreditation for all Engineering branches and B.Pharma Programs. While technical courses are linked with RGPV University in Bhopal, Management and Educational courses are associated with Barkatullah University.
IES offers many courses at UG and PG levels. Some of the popular courses include B Tech, BSc, BA, B Com, B Pharm and B.Ed. IES University course admission is granted based on the entrance exam. IES University Bhopal Courses include diplomas, bachelor's degrees, master's degrees, and doctoral degrees. You can get a BTech, B.Sc., B.Sc. IES University Bhopal Admission
The Admission Cell at the University handles the enrollment process for all desired courses. Admission is typically conducted through a combination of entrance tests, interviews, and counselling sessions to ensure the best fit for prospective students. Thus, all the applicants must sit for the IES University Entrance Exam. Those who qualify for the exam will undergo counselling.
The University will proclaim the dates for the Entrance test, Interview, and Counseling on its official website. That will also include the deadline for submitting filled admission forms. There is a provision for IES University Online admission. As well, offline mode exists.
To apply, you can:
- Download the IES University application form from the website, fill it out, and submit it along with a demand draft of the required fee payable to IES University in Bhopal.
- OR, you can fill out and submit the application form online along with the fee.
- OR, Buy the form in person from the admission cell at IES University in Bhopal, fill it out, and submit it there.
- Once your application is reviewed, and you meet the eligibility criteria, you'll be invited for the Entrance test, Interview, or Counseling.
- The University follows specific admission procedures for each course, following its established norms.
Important notes:
- Candidates meeting the eligibility criteria must submit their filled admission forms before the specified deadline.
- Non-resident Indian candidates can also apply for desired courses, following guidelines set by IES University and the Government of Madhya Pradesh, provided they meet the eligibility criteria as per income tax.

The University conducts an online national-level Merit Cum Scholarship Test to 12th graders from all boards and graduates in all fields.
- If you get 90% or more on your tests, 75% of your college fees will be waived.
- If you get 80% to 90% on your tests, you won't have to pay for college.
- If you get 70% to 80% on your tests, you don't have to pay for half of your education.
- If you get marks between 60% and 70%, you don't have to pay for college.
