Swami Rama Himalayan University Hostel

Swami Rama Himalayan University hostels are available for both males and females. They are very comfortable and convenient. The hostels are on the university compound and ensure that the student gets the necessary support and direction to ensure that they abide by the university rules,  earn good grades and live confortably. The hostel provides several rooms like air-conditioned and non-air-conditioned rooms and other amenities like a common area, TV area mess area, etc. They are equipped with only the essential furniture with easy access to other facilities. This hostel arrangement will make it possible for students to remain in the university hostel and take classes while having a feel of off-campus living. In fact, to ensure the students in the hostels develop strong bonds of togetherness students in the hostels are encouraged to participate in social activities and functions.

Swami Rama Himalayan University Hostel Facilities

  • The University hostels offer both air-conditioning and non-air-conditioning facilities, and twin-sharing is also available.
  • Every room contains simple furniture such as a bed, table, chair and wardrobe, among others.
  • The hostels often contain set up rooms for students to engage in social activities and Pass the time.  
  • Students are allowed some relaxation through television, through TV rooms that are set apart for the purpose.  
  • Students may choose the mess facility. Meals include breakfast, lunch, and dinner, all served by the university.  
  • The hostels may offer internet connection through Wi-Fi, usually to the students.  
  • Students have laundry facilities to wash their clothes either in or near the campus where the school is situated.

  • University hostel accommodation is usually for students who are officially enrolled in one of the programs offered at SRHU.
  • The Hostel rooms are limited in number, and therefore, accommodation is offered on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • To join the hostel, the students must ensure they pass certain academic scores.

  • You can either log into the official website of Swami Rama Himalayan University or contact the university to find out the availability of hostels.
  • Get the hostel application form from the university. Fill in all the required details.
  • Make sure that you complete the application form in detail and in full.
  • Submit documents like an academic transcript photocopied, identity proof, medical certificate, etc.
  • Pay the application fee as specified in the application information and procedures booklet. That can be paid in cash or through other modes of payment.
