Sri Jayachamarajendra College of Engineering SJCE Mysore Hostels provides safety and comfort to the students while they stay there. The boys' and girl's hostels are distinct in order to achieve individual space and security. Rooms are clean and neat, well maintained, with facilities allowing the students to feel cosy in their respective hostels. The campus of SJCE is modern with good infrastructure. As a hostel resident, the student can enjoy Wi-Fi, laundry, and healthy food. They also get to use sports facilities and other indoor game activities.
The hostel staff is very friendly and helpful. They always help you in case of any complaint. As a result, SJCE's hostels create a positive atmosphere for the students to focus on their education and enjoy campus life.
The SJCE Boys Hostel was founded in the year 1963. It can accommodate nearly 700 students in a safe and comfortable environment. As of now, there are 645 boys lodged in the hostel. Out of them, 594 are undergraduate students, and 51 are postgraduate students (M.Tech, MCA, MBA, M.Sc).

The SJCE Girls' Hostel Mysore Karnataka was incepted during the year 2003 and can accommodate about 200 students within the campus. Besides, 182 students can stay in the Hootagalli hostel located at a distance of 6 km from the main campus. Altogether now 355 students are staying in the two hostels. Admission in SJCE Mysore Hostel is available and granted strictly on a first-come, first-served basis. To accommodate in hostel, candidates are required to fill out the application form for the hostel. The student has to submit that for arranging accommodation. It is available for UG as well as for PG students.
Sare advised to apply early for availability. The most essential requirement of applying at this institution is that students will be presented with their ID and the other requirements they will need. The hostel staff and wardens are here to help with any of the student's concerns or questions during the admission process.
