Nirma University provides hostel facilities for boys and girls separately. Boy's hostels are available only at the PG level, while girl hostel facilities are for both UG and PG levels.
The hostel offers room types, including single, double and triple occupancy. There are choices for both AC & non-AC rooms. All rooms are spacious and well furnished with high-speed Internet. The hostels are designed to give students a comfortable living environment with facilities like a common room for social interaction, Cable TV and many more.
Students have to apply through the University's online hostel application portal to get admitted. The application process includes submitting essential documents and paying the Nirma University hostel fees.
Eligibility for hostel accommodation at Nirma University will be determined by level of study. Girls can apply for hostel at both UG and PG levels. But boys can only apply at the PG level. Admission will be based on the accessibility of room and the completion of the application process.

The fees for one year is around 200000 INR, which has 7000 INR for University fees which includes exam fees, and 1000 INR as University enrollment fees only for 1st year. It has not increased in the last 2 years that I have been studying. For students admitted under NRI quota, yearly fees are around 550000 INR. Scholarships on merit and merit cum means are available. On basis of merit, 90000 INR is provided to first 25 students, 50000 INR to next 25 and so on.
The campus life of Nirma is great. There are many concerts and events organised throughout the year. Apart from this, there are many fresher's parties for the new batch every year, organised by different institutes. The college also has its own band, which you can be a part of if you're talented.There are lot of fun events organised like treasure hunt, traditional day, dance competition, personality contests, and much more.
The hostel facility of Nirma University is one of the best in Ahmedabad. There are 4 hostels as of 2024. The new girls hostel H4 is the biggest hostel, with 13 floors and 36 rooms on each floor. The 1st floor has Non - ac rooms, while 13the floor has single occupancy rooms. Other rooms are Ac triple sharing rooms. There is a gym at 6th floor, and laundry facility in the basement. The rroms have a study table, cupboard, and beds for every roommate. The wahsroom is also attached with a separate washing area. There is a balcony in every room. The mess facility is also very good, with different variety of food. The only drawback is that 1st priority for hostel admission is given to MBA students because their program is residential.
