Mewar University Hostel

The Mewar University offers top-notch hostel facilities for the outsiders. All such hostels strictly segregate boys and girls separately. Clean rooms, security 24/7, and good quality food are some of the facilities provided by the hostels at the University. It aims to offer a friendly and peaceful environment to the students who can enhance their learning experience as they stay there while studying. The hostels are pretty neat and equipped with everything that students may need in their daily lives.

Mewar University Hostel Facilities

The hostels at Mewar University offer a wide range of facilities to offer comfort, and convenience for the students. Here is the list of major facilities:

Mewar University Hostel Admission

Admission to hostels is made on the recommendations of committees appointed by the Vice-Chancellor or the Registrar.

  • At first, candidates are required to fill up the Mewar University hostel admission form by downloading it through the official website.
  • Admission is granted for one academic session: July to August only.
  • After the termination of the session, the students have to vacate the hostels.
  • The Warden can assign rooms or personal space within the hostel. The Warden can determine Bathroom and kitchen usage/storage space usage.
  • The room rent and other dues are collected in advance by the hostel.
  • The payment may either be cash or demand draft.
  • If the payment is not received in time, then the room will be assumed to be vacated and the roll of the student concerned will be removed from the hostel rolls for the next semester.

Mewar University Hostel Fees

Students at the time of their admission to Mewar University hostel would need to pay the following dues:

  • Admission Fee
  • Hostel Rent for the complete session
  • Miscellaneous Charges

Refund Deposit: Also, candidates are required to pay the one-time Caution Deposit, which is refundable, at the time of admission. The deposit shall be returned to the student once they vacate.

Late Fine: If a student fails to submit their application for re-admission prior to the due date, they have to pay a late fine.

Clearance Certificate: Each student should obtain a Clearance Certificate from the hostel warden before paying their hostel fees or collecting their exam admit cards. The clearance certificate will confirm payment of all dues like seat rent, electricity bills, and mess charges.

Withdrawal: Once a student gets admission to Mewar University hostel,  they must pay an advance charge of 12 months at the time of admission. In order to withdraw from the hostel, a candidate is required to provide one month's prior notice in writing to the Hostel Superintendent.

Seat Charges and other dues in the event of withdrawal: In case any student decides to leave the hostel after getting admitted, seat charges and other dues for the remaining month of the session have to be paid.

Note: The fee structure keeps on changing, and the student can get the latest details of charges from the concerned department of the University.
