Kumaraguru College Of Technology Hostel

Kumaraguru College of Technology (KCT) student's hostel is an integral part of the college campus. It has two distinct sections, one for boys' students and the other for girls' students. The boy's hostel has three blocks with a total of 512 rooms and a capacity of 2178 students. The girls' hostel of KCT has a total of 264 rooms in its three blocks. It has the total capacity to accommodate 1216 students. In addition to hostel blocks, there are dormitories available in the hostels in Vallalar Maiyam and Sharada Maiyam to accommodate about 90 and 70 students. 

Kumaraguru College of Technology (KCT) Hostel Facilities:

  • Residents of the hostel are provided with shared rooms. 
  • Students have access to common areas within the hostel campus, such as dining, washrooms, the lobby, etc.
  • Every hostel block has a solar hot water facility, mineral water, Hot/Cold water dispenser, Newspaper, Wi-Fi, and a common ironing and reading room. 
  • There is a TV, Browsing Centre, Gym, and indoor games as recreational activities, which are common facilities for hostel students.

Kumaraguru College of Technology (KCT) Boys Hostel:

  • KCT Boys hostel is built in a 242326 sq ft area.
  • There are 6 modern hostel blocks for boys with a total of 508 spacious rooms. 
  • The hostel buildings are monitored 24/7 with the help of CCTV security. 
  • Specified wardens will be on duty all the time to take care of their well-being. 

Kumaraguru College of Technology (KCT) Girls Hostel

  • KCT girls' hostel is built in a 134606 sq ft area.
  • There are 3 modern hostel blocks for girls with a total of 302 spacious rooms. 
  • The hostel buildings are monitored 24/7 with the help of CCTV security. 
  • Also, the warden will be on duty all the time to take care of the well-being of students.
