Assam University Hostel

The Assam University in Silchar campus features nine hostels, four for boys and five for girls. These hostels have a total accommodation of 749 in single and shared rooms. The hostels are equipped with all the modern amenities to give students a comfortable stay.

Assam University Hostel Facilities

The Assam University hostels have furnished all the basic amenities like study tables, chairs, beds, and cupboards. Moreover, the hostel provides a common area for studying and relaxation. That ensures that students have an environment for both academic and personal growth.

Assam University Hostel Admission 

Well, securing a seat at Assam University involves an application process. Students have to fill out the Assam University hostel admission form. Seats will then be available to them as per the vacancies. Before filling out the form, students are advised to read the "Hostel Boarders & Conduct Rules" booklet.

Assam University Hostel Eligibility 

To be eligible for hostel accommodation, students must enrol in the course. They must adhere to university regulations. Since there are a limited number of accommodations, seats are not guaranteed.
