Government Tool Room & Training Centre was bought into existence in the academic year of 1972 to emerge as an International Centre of Excellence in Training production, R & D and Consultancy Services related to tooling & Precision Manufacturing Technology- from concept to End product.  The institution focuses continuously on improving training skills and providing a highly-skilled workforce to industries. Government Tool Room & Training Centre was approved by AICTE and is affiliated with VTU.

  • Government Tool Room & Training Centre offers Long term and short-term courses, in various specializations.
  • The long-term training program comprises BE, M. Tech & Diploma courses, and a Short-term training program composing CNC Prog & Machining, Auto CAD, Master CAM, Pro-Engineering, etc.

  • For admission into Short-term training programs, the candidate must have completed ITI, Diploma, BE, from a recognized board of education with at least 50% aggregate marks.

The institution was established by the collaboration of the state government of Karnataka and Denmark's government; under the agreement of Bi-lateral development co-operation, it is an autonomous society.   • The college uses the new technology to upgrade the student to the industry's present needs, and the techniques used are CAD/ CAM, CNC machines, Vacuum casting, etc.

I have passed 2nd puc 71% in the combiation of CEBA. Can i get admission for B-tech course.

Candidates to seek B.Tech admission in Government Tool Room & Training Centre or any college the minimum eligibility required is 2nd PUC passed or class 12th passed in science stream that is PCM. Commerce students are not eligible for taking B.Tech admissions despite of their marks.

Is their B.E in Tool Engineering course please let me know

Government Tool Room & Training Centre offers 4 years B.Tech course in Tool Engineering and the fee for the course is approximately INR 75000/- the eligibility for the course is 12th completion with 50% aggregate followed by a valid score in KCET entrance examination.
