GAT Bangalore is a private college where the academic is affiliated by the VTU- Visveswaraya Technological University, Belgaum. GAT Bangalore courses are B.E at the under-graduate level course and MBA & M.tech at post-graduate level courses. These courses are offered under the Engineering and Technology department.

GAT Bangalore B.E Course

B.E course in GATE is offered in several specializations and is a full-time course of 4 years course duration. This B.E program is approved by AICTE and under the affiliation of VTU. This college follows the curriculum system of VTU. NBA also accredits the B.E course. The core specializations are-

GAT Bangalore MBA

GAT Bangalore offers an MBA program in the Department of Management. MBA is 2 years course offered in full-time mode. This program is offered in affiliation with VTU and approval from AICTE. This program is also got recognized by the Karnataka State government. This department has a Smart classroom with a multimedia facility, a central library, and another facility for students' overall development. The core specializations are-

GAT Bangalore admissions for the courses offered will be according to the government order. Basic eligibility criteria set for each course should be fulfilled for taking admission in any stream as per the eligibility of AICTE and KEA. GAT accepts applications by offline mode, and the form should be purchased in the GAT administrative office.

GAT Bangalore Admissions for B.E

GAT Admission for B.E will need the basic eligibility of 2nd PUC or 10+2 cleared with a minimum of 45% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.

The B.E students' selection criteria will be as per the KCET or COMEDK-UGET entrance examination followed by the personal interview.

The total intake is 60 seats for the B.E course, and the candidate must be 17 years of age. 

In GAT Bangalore, 45% of seats are reserved for CET students, 30% for the COMEDK students, and the rest of the 25% seats are for the management quota.

GAT Bangalore Admission for M.Tech

GAT Admission for M.Tech will need the basic eligibility of B.E/B.Tech Degree cleared with a minimum of 50% inappropriate stream.

The selection criteria for the M.Tech students will be as per the GATE or K-PGCET entrance examination followed by the personal interview and Group Discussion

The total intakes are 18 seats for M.Tech in Thermal Engineering and Structural Engineering and 24 seats for Computer Science and Digital Electronics & Communication.

Students from reserved category students like SC/ST categories will be provided with 5 % relaxation in Marks.

GAT Bangalore Admission for MBA

GAT Admission for MBA will need the basic eligibility of UG Degree cleared with the minimum of 50% inappropriate stream.

The MBA students' selection criteria will be as per the K-PGCET entrance examination followed by the personal interview and Group Discussion.

The total intake is 120 students for all the specializations of MBA.

Students from reserved category students like SC/ST categories will be provided with 5 % relaxation in Marks.

GAT placement cell has existed since the year 2001, and since then, it has been effectively operated by a placement head and the staff. The placement head coordinates with the staff members and regularly gets in many corporate companies for placements and other activities.

A 60 hour of elite training will be offered for verbal ability, communication, analytical ability, logical reasoning, mock interview, personal interview, and pre-final placement activities.

GAT also makes an effort to provide career guidance as a part of the curriculum, and they also make an effort to foster students towards entrepreneurship.

GAT also has a placement portal to register themselves by submitting the doorway application form. The registration process is straightforward and simple. Candidates must also be eligible to participate in the placement activities, and it is required to have 70% and above for participating in the placement activities and attendance.
