The institute had a modest start in 1944 on the east side of the legendary Phalgu River. The college had connections to various universities of the State University, Patna and Bihar University, Muzaffarpur, and is proud to be the first constituent unit of Magadh University.
The College offers fifty (50) UG & PG programs in different specializations. The university has highly qualified members of the faculty who have immense experience in the field of engineering. They provide an excellent education for students.
The college is covered on 57 hectares with 21 blocks with approximately 30,000 square meters sprawling campus. The university has a strong student association available to support engineering students.
Hostel facilities are provided separately for both boys called Dr. R.P. Hostel and Mahila Hostel girls.
Placement details: The student has to register and participate in each placement test. The student gets a notification when a company arrives in the city. The average package is nearly between 2 and 4 LPA.
Internships are provided to the aspirants in many places to experience practical knowledge.
Excellent bus facilities that make their services from the capital to college, workshops, and laboratories with high-end equipment and library with advanced facilities are also available.
