Galgotias University was established in 2011 under the aegis of Shakuntala Educational & Welfare Society. Its campus is located in Greater Noida, UP. The university constantly endeavors to provide world-class academic facilities and learning practices. As a result, QS has rated Galgotias with 5 stars for Facilities and Teaching Excellence. Besides, it has achieved prestigious awards and top rankings at the National and International levels.
Galgotias University Ranking in India is 3rd among Top Universities. It has been listed in the A1 Band Category Universities. Besides, It has secured MHRD NIRF Rankings in multiple categories such as Overall, B Tech, and MBA Pharmacy. Galgotias NIRF Ranking is between 151-200 band in the University Category. At the International level, the QS bestowed an E-LEAD Certification for Galgotias (E-Learning Excellence for Academic Digitisation)
NBA has accredited three Galgotias Engineering Courses. They are Computer Science, ECE, and Mechanical. Earlier, Galgotias opened its door to the 1st Batch of approx 1700 UG and PG students. At present, the student's strength is 15000+. And there are 800+ competent faculties.
Admission is granted based on the entrance test and academic merit. GU conducts separate entrance tests for B Tech and MBA Courses. Candidates seeking Galgotias B Tech admission must appear for the Galgotias Engineering Entrance Exam. Admission to the MBA in Galgotias is based on the Galgotias Management Aptitude Test. Suppose candidates who have valid scores in JEE Main, CAT, XAT, MAT, or any equivalent, will be excused from Galgotias Entrance Exams. Applicants can fill out application forms either online or offline.

Galgotias University Hostel
Galgotias offers hostel accommodation with all the necessary amenities. More than 1400 students can be accommodated in the Boy's hostel. 200 students can be accommodated in the girls' hostel. Boy's hostel is situated in the campus area. The girl's hostel is located off-campus.
