Fr Conceicao Rodrigues College of Engineering is commonly known as Father Agnel Bandra. It was established under the aegis of Agnel Charities, the trustees of the society of St. Francis Xavier in Pilar.
The college is a non-autonomous, unaided, minority institution. CRCE is named in honor of the Agnel Charity's founder, who drove the organization's growth from a modest carpentry trade school to a full-fledged technical complex. CRCE is located in a picturesque environment in Mumbai City. It is recognized as one of Maharashtra's top private engineering colleges. CECE is dedicated to making a difference in technical education with its inclusive approach toward ongoing trends in technology.
Initially, CRCE started with one UG program Production Engineering, with an intake of 60 students in 1984. At Present, Fr Conceicao Rodrigues College of Engineering courses includes B Tech and M Tech in various disciplines. Under BE/B Tech, the college offers admission to the CSE, Electronics & Computer science, IT, Mechanical, Artificial Intelligence & Data Science, and Production Engineering. There are 53 accomplished, helpful academic members at CRCE. NBA has accredited all the engineering programs due to the Outcome Based Education Parameter. Besides, CRCE Mumbai has consistently ranked highly among leading engineering colleges by surveys such as NIRF, India Today, TOI, etc.
Father Angel Bandra Admission to the B Tech courses is based on MHT CET or JEE Main, followed by CAP (Centralized admission process). Applicants are required to register on DTE, Maharahrashra Portal. Based on the Fr Conceicao Rodrigues College of Engineering Cut off ranking, the final seat allotment will occur. Admission to the M Tech programs is based on GATE scores.
According to seat distribution, 80% of seats are admitted through CAP, while 20% are admitted through Fr Conceicao Rodrigues College Direct admission. To be noted, out of 80% of Centralized admission seats, 51% of seats are allotted for Minority Quota.
Fr. Conceicao Rodrigues College of Engineering's Fee is affordable and reasonable in terms of quality education. However, the fees will be quite expensive for students securing admission under Institute level quota compared to the CAP Quota. Father Angel College of Engineering fees for B Tech is INR 1.5 Lakhs per annum. Students willing to apply for M Tech must pay INR 1.3 Lakhs annually.
