SVKM's Dwarkadas J Sanghvi College of Engineering was founded in 1994 by the Shri Vile Parle Kelavani Mandal's Trust and is situated in Mumbai, Maharashtra. It is accredited by the AICTE and associated with the University of Mumbai. UGC granted an autonomy status for DJSCE for 10 years (2019-20 to 2028-29). The college offers 12 UG Programs, 3 PG Programs, and 3 Ph.D. Programs in the field of engineering disciplines. All the UG Engineering Courses are accredited NBA. Besides, NAAC accredits the institution with an "A" Grade for its academic excellence. Sanghvi College is one of the few institutes in Maharashtra to receive an A+ grade from the Directorate of Technical Education. In addition, DJSCE has been consistently rated among the Top 10 Private Engineering Colleges in India according to India Today Survey.
Students of DJSCE Mumbai continue to feature in top positions on the merit list. Before its autonomous status was received, the college was steadily ranked among the Top Two Colleges under the affiliation of Mumbai University in terms of academic results. Dwarkadas J Sanghvi college of engineering admission for B.Tech is based on 12th-grade grade point average, JEE Mains/Maharashtra CET performance, and other factors.
