The Dr. Sivanthi Aditanar College of Engineering was founded with the vision of providing professional and advanced technical education, with a focus on the construction of analytical and logical skills, along with practical skills. Institute mission is to develop a world-class center of excellence to promote integrated and quality education, promote research and foster development and develop innovative technological applications, promote entrepreneurship and ultimately educate young people in citizens and enlightened leaders.

- Dr. Sivanthi Aditanar College of Engineering Training & Placement Cell actively offers training sessions for mock interviews, skill development, group discussions, internships, professional development opportunities and also makes a valuable contribution and services for students under the experienced guidance.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) is being signed with many organizations or industries in order to send students for an implant training, placement interview and industry visits. Management has also sponsors additional value-added programmes for all students. Dr. Sivanthi Aditanar College of Engineering library is equipped with 680 electronic magazines, 37938 books and 114 journals (national), as well as 5 newspaper articles. The seminar room is equipped with the latest technology and equipped multimedia projectors that provide a special environment for each event. The Dr. Sivanthi Aditanar College of Engineering has a well-equipped auditorium in the CSE block with a capacity of 400 spectators.
