Dr B. R. Ambedkar National Institute of Technology which is shortly known as (NITJ) situated in Jalandhar was set up in the year 1987 as local engineering college. Here the campus is around 154 acres. And in the year 2002 given the place of national institute of technology as deemed university by the government of India and Ministry of HRD, New Delhi.
