Deva Matha College(DC): was established in 1964.NAAC accredits institute with an A grade. It is an ISO 9001: 2008 Certified College. It is affiliated with Mahatma Gandhi University. The college envisages the intellectual development, moral uprightness, social commitment, cultural refinement, spiritual enlightenment, and emotional maturity of the younger generation. The great visionaries, H.E.Mar Sebastian Vayalil, the then Bishop of the Diocese of Palai and Rev. Fr. Paul Alappattu, the then Vicar of St. Mary’s Forane Church, Kuravilangad, who spearheaded the founding of the college, had in their minds the glorious task of dispelling darkness and spreading the light of true wisdom all-round, irrespective of caste, creed, language or religion through the dissemination of knowledge and other skills that would mold the young generation into exemplary citizens well equipped to face the challenges of the times. True to its vision and mission, the college today has emerged as a knowledge hub and a leading center of academic excellence, educating and transforming thousands of students who hail from a purely Agrarian, Rural background.
