DoMS IIT Admission Process

To be eligible for IIT Madras MBA admission, a candidate must possess a UG degree with an average of 50% marks or equivalent CGPA. Candidates appearing for the final year bachelor's degree examinations can also apply.

• Candidates must qualify for national-level exams such as CAT or GMAT Exams. Additionally, they must score identical to the IIT Madras MBA Cut off.
• Later, aspirants will be shortlisted by the IITM admission authority based on their CAT/GMAT score and will be called for further assessment GD and PI rounds.
• The final selection of admission seekers will be based on CAT/GMAT scores, Past academic records, work experience, gender, work experience, etc.
• The candidates selected for the program will be offered a seat in the Department of Management Studies-IIT Madras.
• The option of getting into the IIT Madras MBA through MAT is not possible now. IIT madras used to consider the MAT scores till 2019, but from 2020 the university only considers CAT and GMAT scores.

Institute Merit-cum-Means Scholarship: This scholarship is offered to students who have secured at least 50% in the previous semester. This scholarship offers a 67% exemption on Tuition fees. The Eligibility for the scholarship is: Must have a 5.0 CGPA in the previous semester. All applicant's parents must have an annual income of less than Rs.4,50,000.

SC/ST students scholarship: Available for SC/ST students admitted. Renewal of scholarship every semester is subject to a minimum GPA of 5.0 in the previous semester. 100% Tuition fee exemption + Rs 1 lakh per annum for two years. The parent's annual revenue should not exceed Rs.2,50,000/- for SC and ST students.
