Admission to the Presidency University is based on the entrance exam followed by a cutoff. For B.Tech, the university accepts scores from KCET, COMEDK UGET, and JEE Main. For MBA admission, it accepts the scores of CAT, MAT, and XAT. In addition, it accepts state-level exams such as KPGCET or KMAT.
KEA will allot the seats for the candidates who applied under the government quota through KCET. It conducts a counselling process for allocation of seats by KEA, after the result of KCET. In this context, the Presidency University KCET cutoff is the minimum rank or score that a candidate needs to secure B Tech admission.
Non-Karnataka Candidates are eligible to apply on the basis of COMEDK Rank. The university will release a separate cutoff for both exams. Usually, COMEDK quota fees will be higher than the KCET quota. Students who pass the cutoff are selected for counselling. Here, the selected students get to choose the desired course and branch. As soon as a seat is allotted, document verification will be done, and the students will pay an admission fee to confirm their seat in college.
Presidency University KCET cutoff 2025 (Expected)
The Presidency University Admission through KCET includes eligibility conditions that the candidates should fulfil. After the examination, students who have passed the cutoff rank are eligible to appear in counselling, where they can select their desired course and college according to their ranks. The cutoff rank is the last rank at which a seat is allotted during counselling.
Highly competitive courses like CSE generally have a high cutoff, while only candidates with better ranks will be selected. Less popular courses, such as Civil Engineering, may have a lower cutoff rank, and the candidates with higher ranks might be selected.
