NIT Surathkal B Tech Admission is based on the JEE Main Rank. Hence, if you want to get admission to this coveted institution, then first and foremost, you must appear for the JEE Main conducted by the NITA. Once you pass your 10+2 examination from any stream containing subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, then you can appear for the JEE Main.

For open general candidates, the starting rank for a gender-neutral candidate stands at 1607 while it goes up to 2933 and for the females it ranges from 2636 and goes up to 3358. In the present context, it reflects that closing ranks are slightly higher in females compared to gender-neutral ones. Whereas, NIT Surathkal CSE Cut off 2024 for OBC ranges between 593 to 2099 for Gender Neutral. These cutoff ranks reflect rigid competition for CSE at NIT Surathkal.
