Lovely Professional University admits students through different entrance procedures and according to cutoff criteria in various courses such as MBA, B.Tech, etc. Admission for most programs in LPU is based on the LPU NEST (Lovely Professional University National Entrance and Scholarship Test). In addition to LPUNEST scores, scores of other entrance tests are also considered by the institute. For instance, JEE Main is considered for offering B Tech Admission. In the case of the MBA, LPU accepts the scores of CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT and NMAT. Besides, the applicants need to satisfy the Lovely Professional University Cutoff.
These cutoff marks decide eligibility for the next steps, like counselling and interviews. Also, students will be eligible to obtain scholarships. The LPU cutoff 2025 varies for each program. However, applicants must look into the previous year's LPU cutoffs to analyze the expected cutoff and prepare accordingly to score well in exams.
To be eligible for B Tech admission, applicants are mandated to satisfy the LPU Cutoff for B Tech. It releases a separate cutoff for both JEE Main and LPU NEST. Also, the cutoff will vary for each engineering branch. Among them, the LPU Cutoff for CSE will be the highest because it is one of the popular and demanding branches.
