Jawaharlal Nehru National College of Engineering Cutoff

Jawaharlal Nehru National College of Engineering Cutoff 2025

Jawaharlal Nehru National College of Engineering (JNNCE), established in 1980 in Shivamogga, Karnataka. The institution is affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, and is approved by the AICTE. For admission into the B.Tech program, JNNCE primarily considers KCET and COMEDK UGET scores. KCET is for Karnataka students, whereas COMEDK UGET is open to non-Karnataka candidates. JNNCE Shimoga Cutoff percentile depends on the popularity and demand for specific branches. The cutoff is one of the determining factors for admissions to its B.Tech and MBA programs. The cutoff differs every year based on a variety of factors, such as the number of applications, level of difficulty of entrance exams, availability of seats, and reservation.

On the other hand, the Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Electrical and Electronics Engineering branches are likely to have a moderate cutoff since their demand is low. Further, COMEDK UGET cutoffs tend to be higher than KCET since fewer seats are reserved for non-Karnataka students. Factors such as exam difficulty, the number of applicants, or the demand for specific specialisations in programs create an MBA cutoff.
