The Institute of Rural Management Anand (IRMA) has updated the admission policy for the PGDM program. It has introduced changes in the selection criteria. Earlier IRMASAT test was conducted, but now the institute has added a Written Ability Test (WAT) with additional points awarded for factors like academic diversity, sports participation and work experience. This upgrade shows the institute's commitment to give an enhanced evaluation process. This attracts various student categories with various skills and experiences.
For students looking for admission to the PGDM RM program, they have to qualify for the CAT, XAT, CMAT or GMAT exams. This remains the primary criterion for admission. Students can expect the IRMA CAT cut-off 2025 to be competitive. It is expected to range around 80-85 percentile for general categories students. Similar to the CAT exam, the IRMA CMAT cut-off makes the process easy. Students are advised to download the IRMA cut-off PDF from the official website.
IRMA maintains the diversity of cut-offs for various categories. Therefore, it is important for students to understand the expected cut-offs. IRMA CAT cut-off for OBC students will be lower than the general category. The IRMA CAT cut-off for EWS category represents weaker sections, and it will close at low scores. For SC and ST category students, IRMA sets accessible cut-off. It is expected that the IRMA cut-off 2024 will remain competitive for the general category.
Students who meet down cut-off requirements will be shortlisted. They can move on to the next round. IRMA Anand also evaluates students based on academic diversity, sports diversity, and work experience. In addition to the PGDM – RM, IRMA also offers PGDM RM – X. This is a 15 month executive program in rural management. Admission to this program depends on CAT, XAT or CMAT scores.
