Several IIMs, including IIM Raipur, follow the common admission process for shortlisting applicants. The IIM Raipur admission 2025 will be based on the CAT score, followed by GD and PI. However, at the first step, candidates will be shortlisted based on the IIM Raipur CAT Cutoff 2024 minimum qualifying percentile. It is anticipated that the overall CAT cutoff percentile for 2024 would be 94. Whereas, section-wise, wise CAT cutoff percentile will be 73.
The intake of the IIM Raipur MBA identical PGPM program for the 2024-26 batch was 328 students, so the intake for the 2025-27 batch could also be the same. A merit list is made considering criteria like academic performance, work experience, and performance in a personal interview.
The IIM Raipur overall CAT percentile 2024 is an important requisite for admission to MBA/PGPM. This will determine whether applicants are eligible or not for further selection process. First of all, one has to secure the prescribed overall CAT percentile to get shortlisted for a personal interview. As a result, the selection process is through a PI in which all the past academic credentials, work experience, and diversity are assessed. These factors contribute towards creating a final merit list.
IIM Raipur Cutoff 2024 for General Category is set to the 94 percentile. Candidates belonging to OBC and EWS must score above the 77 percentile. The Cutoff for the SC category is set to 60 percentile. Whereas the Cutoff for ST and Pwd is 40 percentile.

Apart from meeting the overall percentile cutoff, candidates are required to meet the sectional Cutoff in all three sections of the CAT. Once a candidate clears both the overall and sectional CAT percentiles, they are shortlisted for a Personal Interview (PI).
The sectional Cutoff of IIM Raipur CAT 2024 will ensure that a candidate is well-balanced in their ability at each of the three components: QA, VARC, DI & LR.
The candidates belonging to the General category need to acquire at least 73 percentile at all of them. IIM Raipur cutoff for OBC is 50 percentile for Each Section. Those from the SC category must have at least 44 percentile in each Section to clear the Cutoff.
For the ST and PwD candidates, there should be a sectional cutoff at the 25 percentile for QA and DI & LR and at the 30 percentile for VARC.

The selection of candidates for the IIM Raipur MBA Admission 2025 is conducted through a two-stage process.
1: Shortlisting for Personal Interview (PI): The institute will shortlist the candidates for the PI on the basis of the percentile obtained in CAT 2024. The eligibility is further facilitated by the minimum Cutoff declared in both overall and sectional scores by CAT. Suppose, as an example, that all General category applicants require an overall percentile of 94 and at least 73 in QA, DILR and VARC.
2. Final Selection: Candidates selected are based on the final composite score based on multiple parameters. It gives 40% to the CAT score and 25% to the PI score. Other things include VARC score, academic diversity, profile, work experience, and gender diversity carrying different weightage. A total score is 100, and these selected candidates scored maximum in the composite scores.
