IIM Kozhikode CAT cutoff 2024 overall expected cutoff for the general category is going to be around 85 percentile. However, for the reserved categories, the cutoff percentile will be less than 85. In contrast, the section-wise cutoff is expected around 75 for the general. Besides, the final CAT cutoff will be higher than the minimum qualifying IIM Kozhikode cutoff percentile.
Although the cutoff is very important, it never guarantees the admission spot. Thus, all aspects such as CAT score, personal interview (PI), writing ability test (WAT), and the resume of the candidate are being considered by IIM Kozhikode for admission to the MBA equivalent PGPM Programs. The weightage will be 35% for both CAT and PI, 20% for WAT, and 10% for the resume score.

Candidates are required to score a minimum CAT percentile in all three sections as per the cutoff criteria. The sectional cutoff for the general category is 75 percentile for each section (VARC, QA, DI & LR). IIM Kozhikode CAT Cut off 2024 for OBC and EWS is 65 in all the sections. For SC, ST and PwD candidates, the cutoff will vary between 45 to 55 percentile.
Sectional cutoffs are significant as the candidate needs to do well in each section of the examination and not remain average in a few. In the admission process, if the candidate fails to meet the sectional cutoff even in one of the sections, then that person may be disqualified irrespective of the overall percentile they score. IIM Kozhikode Admission Criteria and Shortlisting Process for 2025-2027 PGPM Batch will be based on CAT 2024 Cutoffs, past academic records, work experience, WAT and PI. To be eligible for the phase 1 selection process, candidates are required to satisfy the CAT 2024 Minimum qualifying cutoff. For the final selection, the weightage of the CAT score will be 35%. Also, IIM will release the list of shortlisted candidates on the website. Only such candidates will be eligible to participate in the final selection rounds.
IIM follow the 3 step admission process for shortlisting students to its MBA identical PGPM program.
Step 1: Candidates who satisfy the CAT 2024 Minimum qualifying cutoff and basic eligibility requirements will be intimated to register online for further selection rounds. Here, they need to fill up their data.
Step 2: Upon successful registration, candidates will be shortlisted for WAT and PI based on the Aggregate Index Scores. This score will be calculated by considering certain parameters weightage, mentioned in the table below.
