IIM Indore offers admission to the MBA equivalent PGPM programs based on the CAT scores. There are two cutoffs that IIM Indore releases. These include Qualifying CAT Cutoff 2024 and Final CAT Cutoff 2024. Such candidates who pass the IIM Indore minimum qualifying Cutoff 2024 will qualify for the final selection process, that is, WAT and PI. In general, the Final CAT Cutoff is much higher as compared to the Qualifying Cutoff.
It is anticipated that IIM Indore CAT 2024 for the general and EWS categories would be 90 percentile. For other categories like EWS, OBC, SC, ST, and PwD, it would be between 45 to 80. Candidates need to be cleared in both sectional and overall cutoff to clear Stage 2 of the selection process, which contains the WAT and PI rounds. The shortlisting for the WAT and PI rounds is done based on a composite score, which includes considerations such as a CAT 2024 score, 10th score, 12th score and diversity factor.
The expected IIM Indore CAT Cut off Percentile for 2024 differs on a category basis. IIM Indore cutoff for General and EWS is 90 percentile. In contrast, the OBC Non-Creamy Layer is 80 percentile. SC candidates must require the 60 percentile, whereas, for ST and PwD, the cutoff is the 45 percentile. Those students who satisfy the CAT minimum qualifying cutoff criteria will be eligible for the further rounds, that is WAT and PI.

Comparing the trends for the IIM Indore cutoff of the last three years, namely, 2021, 2022, and 2023, it is clear that the overall CAT cutoffs for all categories remain the same. For the General and EWS candidates, the cutoff has remained at the 90 percentile. For the OBC Non-Creamy Layer candidates, the cutoff has been maintained at 80 percentile. IIM Indore cutoff for SC is 60 percentile. Whereas for ST and PwD candidates, it remains at the 45 percentile.

The IIM Indore Admission procedure consists of three major steps.
Step 1: Applying and writing the CAT: The candidates first apply for admission and write the CAT. In order to get qualified, they must satisfy the minimum cutoff for their category in CAT.
Step 2: Shortlisting for WAT and PI: Once the CAT results are declared, candidates will be shortlisted for WAT and PI based on CAT scores, past academic records, and diversity factors.

Step 3: Final Selection: The final stage is the evaluation of the candidates on the basis of scores obtained during WAT and PI. The final selection process is done based on the composite score that aggregates scores from all stages.
