University of Delhi Directorate of Distance Education is popularly known as the Delhi University (DU). It was established in the year of 1922. It is a Government university approved by University Grants Commission (UGC). • Admission into various UG courses is based on the candidates' application. Admission is made directly if the student meets the university's eligibility conditions.

The hostel has 344 rooms, and the seats will be distributed among the 1^st, 2^nd, and 3rd-year students (BA/ B. Sc/ B. Com). The hostel fee is very much affordable and is worth paying.
