Fees Structure of Thangavelu Engineering College 2025

Thangavelu Engineering College, shortened as TEC, is located in the capital city of Tamil Nadu called Chennai that was happened to be established in 1995. The institute gets its financial support from an educational trust called Ponniamman and T.J. Educational Trust and having itself affiliated to Anna University. TEC is sanctioned to be a private college of engineering approved by AICTE and got certification from NAAC and NBA. TEC is known for providing one of the best teaching faculty for engineering subjects, and they provide also provide PGDM or MBA programs. But as mentioned, the B-Tech and MBA programs are the most demanded TEC courses.   

The campus in which the college is built is quite huge with booming facilities like spacious common rooms, viable computer labs, and accommodation facilities for students who live far away, transport requisites, college fests, and educational club activities, etc.  

• The U.G. engineering program called B-Tech offered in TEC is available in six major subjects in demand as- Instrumentation, Computer Science, Civil, Electrical and Electronics Mechanical, Electronics and Electronic & telecommunication engineering.
• The students are accepted for admissions only if they got at least 50 percent in all the core subjects in their 12th exams and should write and clear the TNEA exam widely accepted in Tamil Nadu engineering colleges. 
• The B-Tech fees amount inclusive for all the four years is specified to be 2 Lakhs, and every year it costs about 50 K.  
• The M-Tech program in TEC also comes with four main subjects Communication Systems, Computer-Aided Design, Computer Science, and Power Electronics and Drives. 
• The chances of accepting the candidates to get admission for M-Tech in TEC will have to clear the TANCET exam and have complete the proper degree certificate.  
• The M.E. course in TEC is charged up to 70 K every year, totally costing up to 1.4 for two years.
• Even the TEC management courses are given with three major specializations as usual. But the qualified students will have to cleat certain exams like XAT, TANCET, CMAT, CAT, etc. 
• The fee amount charged by TEC for the provided MBA program is 70 K for the complete duration of management studies. 
• TEC's accommodation facility is for both girls and boys, quite comfortable with all the amenities. The hostel campus will be under camera surveillance, and all the activities will be under supervision. The fee structure for the same is 55,000 for a year.

TEC Scholarship                                                                       

• TEC provides a scholarship scheme mostly based on the college's caste/category priorities. For reserved category candidates like SC/ST, the college fees are free or minimal. 
• The other scholarship is for candidates with merit, and they will have to maintain a CGPA of 6.5 to 7.5 throughout their course.
