Shree Warana Vibhag Shikshan Mandal established Tatyasaheb Kore Institute of Engineering &Technology (TKIET, Kolhapur) in 1983. It is accredited by NAAC with an 'A' Grade, affiliated with Shivaji University, recognized under DTE-Government of Maharashtra, and approved by AICTE. The campus area spread over 30 acres of landscape, located in Warananagar, 30km away from Kolhapur.TKIET emerged as one of the foremost engineering institutes in Maharashtra State. It also has 37 years of academic excellence in imparting engineering education and well-known for top placements.TKIET has membership with the Indian society for delivering technical education.

  • TKIET offers a bachelor's degree course, BE, in five significant disciplines, namely Chemical, Civil, Computer Science, Electronics, and Mechanical Engineering. The total intake for BE program is 60 students for each specialization.
  • BE fee structure in Tatyasaheb Kore Institute cost approximately INR 98,000 per annum. Aspirants applying for BE admission in TKIET shall have qualified either in JEE Main or MHT-CET with a valid score to get eligible.

TKIET offers the best hostel accommodation for boys & girls separately at a reasonable price. The boy's hostels situate near the campus premises. There are nine well-structured hostels in which more than 1179 boys can accommodate. For Girls, there are two hostels in which 742 students can accommodate. Facilities like hot water, 24hrs electric supply with power back up, Wi-Fi services, two hygiene mess serves good quality of nutritious food, and the cafeteria is available. I have completed BE in Civil Engineering and the course curriculum was practical oriented. Tatyasaheb Kore Institute of Engineering and Technology fee structure for BE charges approximate 98,000 per annum hence the total fee costs around 3.9 Lakhs for complete four years of duration and the TKIET hostel fee charges approximate 62,000 per year.

The fee structure for B.E

  • Is around INR 3.54lakhs for the complete course.
  • Admission is based on the valid score of MH-CET 2018 exam.
  • The highest package which has happened in the last year is INR 6.0lakhs per annum and the average package is from INR 2.5 lakhs per annum.

The admission procedure for Tatyasaheb Kore Institute of Engineering and Technology is:

For B.TECH:

  • Here the candidate need to complete (10+2) or Equivalent with Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry/Biotechnology, Language and any other subject.
  • And the Maharashtra State candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC/ Persons with Disability category must have obtained at least 45% marks.

For MBA:

  • The candidate should have Graduation and a bachelor’s degree
  • With a discipline obtained through the 10+2+3 system or an equivalent qualification
