Stella Maris College located in Chennai; Tamil Nadu was established in the academic year of 1947. The institution was bought into existence with an aim to build a vibrant and inclusive learning community in a culture of excellence sustained by a sound value system that promotes responsible citizenship and effects social change. Stella Maris College was approved by NAAC & UGC and is affiliated with University of Madras.

• Stella Maris College offers various UG & PG courses in the field of Commerce, Arts, Science, Computer Applications, Management and Vocational courses under various specializations.
• For admission into all under graduate courses, candidates will be selected on the basis of merit obtained in the qualifying examination (10+2).
• For admission into all post graduate courses, candidates will be selected on the basis of marks scored in the entrance examination followed by the personnel interview. 
• Candidates who wants to pursue Ph. D program, must qualify the entrance exam to be considered eligible for admission to the college.
• For all the courses candidates can apply online through the college official website. 
• Fee Structure of all the courses is quite feasible; B. Sc course can be completed with the total expenditure of INR 68,685; total fee structure of BA is INR 7,200; BBA is INR 97,935; B. Com is INR 88,935 and M. Sc total fee is around INR 30,000.
• Stella Maris College also provides scholarship facilities on the basis of candidate’s academic performance; and the few scholarship are Junior Performing Arts Scholarship, Senior academic Scholarship and Senior Performing Arts Scholarship.

Stella Maris College also provide hostel facilities, there are total five hostels in the college campus. A limited number of seats are available in the hostels. Hostel application must be submitted along with the programme application form. The hostel fee is quite feasible, which is around INR 35.81K – 45.25K per annum.
