SJBIT is one of the universities guided by Sri Adichunchanagiri Shikshana Trust to commit to excellence. They have Undergraduate, postgraduate, and Ph.D. programs offered by them. Before applying to any programs, students should have appeared for the entrance exams. The institute offers a B. Tech program for undergraduates and M. Tech and MBA for postgraduates. They also provide a program for three years in Ph.D.

Tuition Fee and Hostel Fee:

The tuition fee depends on the course and stream chosen by the students, and the hostel fee is the same regardless of branch or stream.

  • SJBIT offers affordable fees for everyone. For B. Tech, Rs.1,32,360 for four years, Rs.33,090 per year.
  • The fee structure for MBA goes as Rs.1,00,000 for two years, and when split, it is Rs.50,000 each year; for M. Tech programs’ the total is Rs.1,28,780 for two years, that would be Rs.64,390 per year.
  • The hostel fee with food and accommodation for three-seaters common is Rs.80,000 per year, and three-seaters attached bathroom only for boys. Eighty-five thousand per year whereas food and accommodation for two-seaters attached bathroom which is only for postgraduate students, is Rs.90,000 per year.

Exams and Cut-offs:

Before applying for the college, the student must have taken competitive entrance exams, and the cut-offs are based on the category to which the student belongs.

  • The student joining B. Tech should have been passed out 10+2 with an aggregate of 50%, and students joining M. Tech or MBA must have completed their graduation from a reputed university with at least 45%. Students must have appeared for KCET, COMEDK for B. Tech, and PGCET for M. Tech and MBA for their eligibility.
  • Students joining Ph.D. should also be double degree holders with at least minimum marks. Students must have taken Ph.D. entrance exams for eligibility for this course.

Several MNCs recognize SJBIT to conduct their recruitment, such as TCS, TECH MAHINDRA, L & T INFOTECH, MINDTREE, ACCENTURE, CAPGEMINI, COGNIZANT, FLIPKART, INFOSYS, IBM, ROBOSOFT, SAP, INDIAN NAVY, and so on the companies recruit most of the students by paying an average package of 3.50 lakhs per annum to highest package of 17.00 lakhs package per annum.

I am pursuing B Tech in Electrical & Electronics Engineering and right now am in final year. SJB Institute of Technology fee structure for B Tech course costs approximate 53,000 per annum hence the total fee costs around 2.1 Lakhs overall I can say fee is actually nominal and reasonable too and also SJBIT is one of the best engineering college in Bangalore.

The B.Tech course fee for ELECTRONICS & COMMUNICATION ENGINEERING at SJB Institute of Technology, Bangalore was around INR 213840 through KCET entrance exam. The course fee at this institute was different for some of the students since they choose to appear for COMEDK entrance exams. For each year I had to pay the fee of 53k at this institute.

SJB Institute of Technology fee for the BE is expensive if we take COMEDK entrance test whereas for the KCET students it is cheaper. It is actually very different for different for each students depending upon the entrance test and mode of admissions. SC and ST candidates have just Rs.500 as their CET fee whereas some Muslims will have to pay like Rs. 85,000 as CET fees.

SJB Institute of Technology fees for B-Tech is INR 135000 per year. For the entire course of 4 years, it would cost INR 5.4 lakhs.
