R.M.D. Engineering College, located in Chennai, Tamil Nadu was established in the academic year of 2001. R.M.D. Engineering College is a private institution which was approved by AICTE & NBA and is affiliated with Anna University. The Institution is ranked 201 for B. Tech by NIRF and also received NAAC accreditation of B++ Grade.   • The basic eligibility for admission into UG courses is that, candidate must have pass 10+2 with 60% marks in respective discipline.
  • For admission into PG courses the applicant must have passed UG course in relevant subject with minimum 55% aggregate marks.
  • R.M.D. Engineering College offers various scholarship facilities to the meritorious students and to the students belonging to SC/ ST and OBC category. In addition; merit cum mean based scholarship are also awarded by the department of minorities welfare, to students of religious minority.
  • The institution has a well-established training and placement department to enable the students to get the employment opportunities right in the campus while they pursue their studies.

R.M.D. Engineering College has excellent hostel facilities for both boys and girls. The boy’s hostel can accommodate more than 600 students and the girl’s hostel can accommodate around 450 students. The hostel fee is quite feasible, which is around INR 62.1 K per annum for both boys and girls.

R.M.D. Engineering College fee will be around 1.25 lakhs per annum for the B.tech course. We have bus facility and also hostel facility for which we will have to pay fees if in case avail this facility. Students staying in hostel should pay fees around 2.25 lakhs per annum and for day scholars the fee is less.

Admisssion for B.Tech in R.M.D. Engineering College:

  • Candidate must have minimum 45% aggregate in 10+2(PCM).
  • Candidate must have a valid score in TNPCEE.
  • Admission is through counseling based on the rank obtained in TNPCEE.
  • Fee structure is approximately 720000 for 4 years.
