The Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences started in 1960 and came into existence in 1965 February, located in Bariatu, Ranchi, Jharkhand 834009. The college is popularly called Rajendra Medical College, named after Rajendra Prasad, the first president of India. It is affiliated with Ranchi University, Ranchi, and approved by the Medical Council of India. The college is Multi specialized with 1500 beds and with advanced diagnostic tools.

In my opinion admission fee in my college is actually less compare to any other medical college. Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences fee structure costs around 10,000 to 15,000 hence for paying the fee is not much burden and also scholarships and educational loans are available for the needy students actually loans are not required because fee is actually low. Hostel infrastructure is nice and the facilities are up to standards and we have proper rooms and RIMS hostel fee charges around 3000 per annum hence I can say fee is very much nominal overall I can say it is good college for pursuing MBBS course
