Punjab Engineering College, widely known as PEC, a deemed university, came into existence in 1921. Being the oldest institute in India, it has received many prestigious awards. PEC is a well-known institute approved by AICTE, UGC, and NAAC and affiliated with the University of Punjab. Mint has ranked the institute at 16th place in the Engineering colleges' survey and 9th place in CSR-GHRDC limited participation. PEC provides placements to students in reputed companies with higher paid salaries. Top recruits of PEC will be Amazon, Adobe, Broadcom, KPMG, Genpact, Idea, and many more. Students who study at PEC will get scholarships on a merit basis.    

  • The PEC admission process happens based on scores in the entrance exam. For B. Tech at PEC, students will have to clear JEE Main exam; for M. Tech, candidates will have to clear the GATE exam.  
  • B. Tech courses in PEC will come in several specializations: Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and many more.
  • M . tech courses in PEC will come in several specializations: Electrical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and many more.
  • Total fees for the B. E-course in Punjab College of Engineering will be Rs 3.45Lakhs, which are paid in divisions over 4 years.
  • Total fees for M. Tech in Punjab Engineering College will be Rs 1.74 Lakhs, which are paid in divisions in 2 years.

PEC University of Technology has a lush green campus which is acquired over 146 areas of land. Students will have all the facilities inside the campus to attain all the things they want on campus. Students at PEC University will get the facility of a technical classroom, modern labs, updated computer labs, and many more facilities. PEC also provides hostels for boys and girls inside the campus. The hostel is well furnished with all the things students need, and the PEC hostel will cost around Rs 65,000/- per year.

  • Fee structure for B.Tech at PEC University of Technology is approximately INR 496000/- for the complete 4 years course for general catagory.
  • Fee structure at  PEC University of Technology for B.Tech will reduce according to govt. norms for ST catagory candidates.

PEC University of Technology provides B.TECH in Aerospace engineering.

Total fee of which is around 4.1 lakhs.
