Fees Structure of Netaji Subhas Open University 2025

Netaji Subhas Open University is a leading open university of state and is very famous all over India. The inception date of the college was 1997 under the state Act which was passed on 20^th August 1997 which was in favor to start a open university. NSOU, Kolkata was established by Netaji Institute of Asian Studies (NISA) and started functioning from the year 1998. This Open University is the 10^th in the country and 9^th as the state open university. NSOU started bachelor’s program from 2000 and the PG degree courses from the year 2002 in the fields of science and Arts. NSOU, Kolkata have over 120 study centers all over the state of West Bengal and there are 2.5 Lac students pursuing from this Open University.

• NSOU courses are various under UG and PG level degree such as B.A, B.Com, BCA, BSW, B.Lib.i.Sc. etc. and the PG courses are M.Sc., MCA, MSW, M.Lib.i.Sc. and B.Ed. The application process in NSOU will usually start in the July month of every year and candidates fulfilling the basic eligibility can apply for the courses.
• The B.A course is offered in 7 specializations and the Netaji Subjas Open University-NSOU fee structure for the B.A distance course would be Rs. 6,300 as total fee. The fee must be paid as per the guidelines produced by the Open University.
• The B.Sc. course is also a course offered through distance learning and is a 3 years duration program. The Netaji Subjas Open University-NSOU B.Sc. yearly fee will be approximately Rs. 9,300 totally.
• The B.Ed. is offered as special education and the NSOU fee would be Rs. 40,000 per annum and the Rs. 80,000 totally.
• NSOU fee structure for the distance learning course B.Lib.I.Sc. Is Rs. 5000 as total fees and the B.Com fee would be Rs. 6,300 as total fees.
• The fee structure of the post graduation programs like M.A will be Rs. 7,600, M.Sc. in Geography fee is Rs. 36,000, M.Sc. General fee will be Rs. 36,000 and MSW fee as Rs. 10,400 as complete fee of the course.
