Mysuru Royal Institute Of Technology( the MRIT) was established in 2013. The outcome of this coming together is the formation of the Mysore Royal Education Trust during the year 2013. At the outset, the trust has cherished to open an engineering college on the outskirts of Mysore. The intended institution is called the Mysuru Royal Institute of Technology (MIT) on a lovely extensive expanse of Cauvery valley near the village Lakshmipura, off Mysuru-Bangalore highway, Sriranga Patna taluk, just 3.5 KM from Columbia Asia hospital signal.
