Katihar Medical College came into existence in 1987, situated at Karim Bagh, Katihar, Bihar 854106. It is affiliated with Bhupendra Narayan Mandal University and approved by the Medical Council of India. The college was started by the minority community of Bihar called Al-Karim. The total institutional area is 60000 square feet. And there are 14991 books, 67 Indian Journal & 67 foreign journals. More than 50% of seats are reserved for the students belonging to the Muslim religious minority community.

The fee particulars in our college for MBBS was like tuition fee which we had to pay was 12.50 lacs along with amenities fee of Rs. 25,000 and refundable security deposit which was around Rs. 50,000. The total katihar medical college fee structure would be close to 13-14 lac for an annum. The hostel for both male and female in the college would cost us around Rs. 75,000 per annum. Overall when we check the fee structure its actually kind of feasible and there will also be management quota which will have the fee which is higher than any of the quota.
