Government Degree College located in Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh, was established in the academic year of 1997 to promote the educational development of privileged classes, including weaker sections, to protect them from all sort of injustice and exploitation; to improve human resource development of the area and to develop the skills, competence, and expertise of the people and to conduct research and training programs for increasing the level of knowledge in various fields. The Institution was approved by NAAC and is affiliated with Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Rohilkhand University.

• Government Degree College offers undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Arts, Commerce, Science and Computer Applications. The Institution also provides integrated courses like B. Sc + M. Sc.
• The fee structure of all the programs is quite feasible and can be paid in installments per annum. The total fee structure of the BBA & BA course is INR 7,653K; B. Com course fee is INR 9,150; B. Sc + M. Sc integrated course fee is INR 2.0 Lakhs, and Students can complete a postgraduate diploma in computer applications with the total expenditure of INR 14,000.
